We just got a new dog today. I'm pretty stoked! I have three questions...
1. If you go a dog what would you name it?
2. The name we are currently leaning toward is "Nala" (from Lion King). Oh yeah it's a girl.
What is your vote on the name? Yes or No?
3. And what advice would you offer a new dog owner? (training, putting them to bed, discipline, etc.)

Definitely do not name your dog after a Disney film. That's bad mojo.
I'd stay classy and go with "Cujo."
nala was a lion, lions are large cats, not dogs. now if nala had been a wolf or one of the hyenas id say go for it but alas she was a lion. however nala is a cute name. i would suggest...umm...roxy or lucy or chiquita or if you wanna stick with the disney thing, belle or esmerelda. whatever it is make it something not stereotypical like fluffy or bandit.
Hmm...tough question. Nala is cute but i agree with the other anonymous. Its a dog, not a cat. BUT it should be called Justina. And im going with "no" on the training. Stop treating this spirit like an animal. um..
1. You can't name a dog without seeing what it looks like. It is like rooting for a team you've never seen play before.
2. NO NALA! I will start a campaign, that is not the name for a dog and it makes it sound like a not so nice word.
3. Don't let the dog sleep in your bed, especially as a puppy. It will urinate on your sheets and that will sink into the mattress. Also, allow your dog to play and be in the company of other dogs. That is necessary is raising a well rounded animal. I have a lot of advice i don't feel like putting on here so I vote you hire me as your dog trainer. hahahaha
What kind of dog is it? Lauren and I have a dog. She's a lab husky mix. Her name is Layla, and I think that's a sweet name for a dog. But I can't take credit because the people who had her before us gave her the name. I'm fine with you stealing that name if you want, cause it's pretty much the perfect name for a girl dog. Oh, and I think Nala is cool too, it doesn't matter if she was a lion, duh.
